5 out of 5 stars I Need More Ink   October 3, 2008
Well, I can't get too excited about a review for a ink cartridge. What I can say is that ordering through Amazon is always a safe bet at a quality price. Very happy with my ink.

1 out of 5 stars Not enough ink in PG-40 Canon Cartridges   September 22, 2008

I bought an MP470 printer on 9/4/08. I put in a full black ink cartridge (PG-40)and made no more than 30-35 copies on regular paper. It shows that it needs to be replaced. I called Canon and was told that the average number of pages would be 355 for one PG-40 cartridge. I thought the cartridge might be defective but the tech support person tells me that it would show an "error" on the printer if that was the case.

I will continue to use the cartridge until it totally runs out of ink but I am very unhappy with the number of pages I was able to print.

3 out of 5 stars Why not recycled ink cartridges?   June 1, 2008

Canon has made it almost impossible to use recycled ink cartridges. They are not alone. There should be a more economical and environmentally friendly alternative available for purchasing ink - not just the limited options imposed by a monopoly held by the manufacturer. Just think if you buy a car and could then only buy gasoline from the car manufacturer!

5 out of 5 stars Excelent   May 2, 2008
The canon printer I have is the best out of all the printers I even owned in my life, and this Ink is perfect with it and it lasts about 5 months with more than 5 pages worth of printing weekly. I know it is expensive, but it is the best out in the market.

5 out of 5 stars Good   March 26, 2008
There's nothing to complain about the genuine ink cartridge. You could refill it with the refill ink, just do it before the genuine ink exhausts.
